Oftentimes healers will recommend surgery or other high-risk procedures – with possibly fatal implications – as remedies for various ailments and conditions. Patients and their families will then find themselves faced with some of the most agonizing and critical of questions: To operate or not? Is inaction always really the more dangerous path to take? This workshop will show how ancient teachings and texts can crystallize our thinking and offer some time-proven guidelines and criteria for these modern-day dilemmas.
