Born and raised in New York City, David Sacks attended Harvard College, graduating with a degree in Government. While there he began his comedy writing career as an editor of the school’s humor magazine, The Harvard Lampoon. Upon graduating, David moved to Los Angeles and began writing for television. Among the shows he’s worked for are “The Simpsons”, where he won an Emmy Award, and “Third Rock from the Sun” for which he won a Golden Globe Award, “Malcolm in the Middle”, and “Lewis Black: The Root of All Evil”. David is the co founder and Senior Lecturer of The Happy Minyan of Los Angeles. David is married and raises his family in Beverly Hills, CA.
If one identifies the hours of the day where their mind is the sharpest and has the most mental clarity and uses those hours out the most productively, they’ll find that they can accomplish a lot more in potentially less time and achieve an amazing amount of productivity.

Mr. Sacks will discuss the great value in focusing on things one is already doing right and “fixing” them, i.e. ensuring that one isn’t just doing them properly or even achieving success, but that they give those areas their all. Once that has been achieved, it is easier to then turn one’s focus on areas that actually need to be improved and bettered.
