Mrs. Devorah Bell is one of the editors of Body and Soul: A Handbook for Kosher Living. Her grandfather, Rabbi Sholomo Aharon Kazarnovsky was a student in Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in Lubavitch, chassid of the previous rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Schneersohn, and later the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson. He was among those who greeted the Rebbe and Rebbetzin, Rabbi Menachem Mendel and Rebbetzin Chaya Mushkah Shneerson, upon their arrival to the United States. Mrs. Bell's grandmother was among the founders of the first Lubavitcher high school for girls, Beth Rivkah. Her great-grandfather, Rabbi Asher Nikolayever, is famed as the composer of a soulful Chabad niggun that bears his name. Mrs. Bell is a shluchah in Montreal, Canada, where she lives with her husband, Dayan Berel Bell and their family.
