Rabbi Meni Even-Israel was born in Jerusalem. He was ordained by Israel’s Chief Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu and served as a Campus Rabbi for several years in the United States. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the Steinsaltz Center in Jerusalem, overseeing Rabbi Adin Even-Israel Steinsaltz’s institutions worldwide. He is responsible for the completion of the English and French editions of the Steinsaltz Talmud, and most recently the publication of the Steinsaltz Tanakh.
