Rabbi Yisrael Deren is founder and director of Chabad of Fairfield County in Connecticut. Rabbi Deren has extensive experience in all areas of Jewish community service and has been actively involved in teaching a wide range of audiences on the university level and in adult education settings. Following a series of personal tragedies, Rabbi Deren has been a source of strength, inspiration and faith, bringing Torah’s message of hope, joy and strength to diverse audiences.
